Why people no longer believes in Mahatma Gandhi's principles?

A survey was made to find the answer to this question.....
people had their distinct views on this question......

Non-violence is one of his great gifts to modern world among others. Non-violence and peace can still be achieved with diplomatic talks and with U.N's help. thats what i believe. Violence should be the last weapon which should be used, not first. This goes for all the countries around the world. Said one....
This is regarded as a best answer to this question by people..

Gandhijis policy,to forward ur other cheek if hit in one, wonder what next ,if the person slaps the other cheek too?probably, nathuram godse, killer of gandhiji was correct to say, that gandhiji was the most respected person, individualy, for his great ideology, but his policies, reg.the nation,if implemented, would have doomed the nation.

Principles of Gandhiji are applicable in our to days society. There are few people, who are still following his principles. Because, his principles have eternal values for mankind forever. But unfortunately, There are always conflicts between two opposite forces in our society. Now, question is which force can dominate other force. Someone may stick to his own principle, good or bad and other people may follow him , if he has the capability to influence them. As such, a great leader or original Gandhi must reincarnate in our modern society, who will be ready to get killed with a bullet in order to establish Gandhian principles in the heart of masses.
I think Gandhian principles are self explanatory to answer, what will be the impact on society.

Well according to me......
of course they r
not in today's world only, the principles r eternal principles which had been followed by the mankind especially the moral people since centuries. Some people are against Gandhiji also but...

Well the fact is cleared that even in dis corrupted world 80% of the people follow Gandhiji's principle...

BHAGAT SINGH during his trial
Bhagat Singh, during his trial in the Lower Court, was asked what he meant by word "Revolution." Bhagat answered this question with a joint statement with B K Dutt, which was read in the court by Asaf Ali on June 6, 1929; and excerpts from this statement are given below. )

REVOLUTION does not necessarily involve sanguinary strife, nor is there any place in it for individual vendetta. It is not the cult of the bomb and the pistol. By "Revolution" we mean that the present order of things, which is based on manifest injustice, must change. Producers or labourers, in spite of being the most necessary element of society, are robbed by their exploiters of their labour and deprived of their elementary rights....The capitalists and exploiters, the parasites of society, squander millions on their whims. These terrible inequalities and forced disparity of chances are bound to lead to chaos. This state of affair cannot last long, and it is obvious that the present order of society in merry-making is on the brink of a volcano....A radical change, therefore, is necessary and it is the duty of those who realise it to reorganise society on the socialistic basis....By "Revolution", we mean the ultimate establishment of an order of society which may not be threatened by such breakdown, and in which the sovereignty of the proletariat should be recognised and a world federation should redeem humanity from the bondage of capitalism and misery of imperial wars. This is our ideal and, with this ideology as our inspiration we have given a fair and loud enough warning.

...Revolution is an inalienable right of mankind. Freedom is an imperishable birth right of all. Labour is the real sustainer of society. The sovereignty of the people is the ultimate destiny of the workers...

A different View
You know... Gandhi's theory if applied to any single nation....then any nation will be doomed and dominated by others nations......

Gandhi's ideology was to be implemented to the whole world to maintain peace and equality....

A single person with a different ideology will always suffer against millions of other people with another ideology
